When a condition has altered one’s ability to breathe normally, finding and deciding on the right care can be overwhelming. Kentfield Hospital is here to help.
Specialty hospitals like Kentfield Hospital are designed to provide care for individuals suffering from serious medical conditions. When individuals with respiratory problems require a longer hospitalization period than what traditional hospitals may be able to offer, they’re sometimes referred to us to continue their treatment plans.
Our respiratory program team members have extensive experience working with patients who are unable to breathe normally, as well as those who have become unable to breathe on their own. We treat both individuals who have become suddenly ill, as well as those with chronic pulmonary conditions.
Some of our patients require mechanical ventilation, a life-saving medical treatment used for individuals who have extreme difficulty breathing, or an inability to breathe on their own. Our team members are trained to manage the unique challenges of ventilator dependency and the ventilator weaning process. We also treat patients who have high flow oxygen needs or require BiPAP therapy.
